Did you know that your writing style can give an insight to your personality? According to the science of writing or Graphology, 5000 personality traits can be associated with how you craft your words. You are drawing a picture of what is happening inside you as you guide the pen across the page.
Eg, when I am anxious, my page has big letters that are more spaced than usual. I am fitting 4-5 words in a line. In contrast to when I am relaxed, my alphabets are more specifically shaped and closer to each other. I am writing 6 -7 words in a line.
Interesting…..
What is Graphology?
Handwriting analysis, or Graphology, is an empirical study that infers an individual’s character by analyzing various elements of his handwriting, such as size, slant, spacing, and signature.
Well, even though the concept is very popular and ancient, it is still a pseudoscience. Nevertheless, it is still very fascinating.
When you talk about the credibility of this pseudoscience, several episodes of CID might flash in front of your eyes. you believe there is some truth to it.
How does it work ?
Everyone has a distinct writing style amidst the commonalities. The basics of writing like,
writing in cursive, writing between the lines, size of the alphabets, spacing between the words, holding a pen are all skills that you learn in school. These skills are universally taught and are called style characteristics. As you grow older, you develop a unique way of writing which separates you from others. These are your individual characteristics which are unique to you.
Graphologists use this information to draw references. Most of you don't write the way you did in the first or second grade. And while two or more people may share a couple of individual characteristics, the chance of those people sharing 20 or 30 individual characteristics is so unlikely that many handwriting analysts would say it's impossible.
Handwriting experts study the strokes in handwriting like size of the letters, spacing between them, their shape, alignment, slant, letter formation and so much more to derive inferences. Looks like a complicated process.
For instance, if you write big , you are outgoing and like the limelight. Whereas if you write small, you are focused and can concentrate easily and you tend to be introspective and shy. But if your alphabet size is average , you are well-adjusted and adaptable.
Alternatively, you might have heard that if your handwriting is really tiny, you're subconsciously trying to hide something; or that if you write the initial letters of your first or last name much bigger than the other letters, you like attention.
There is something about the “S” as well. I have read it at multiple places that if your S is round you are a people pleaser. If your cursive S has space below you are suppressing your true desire. Your handwriting is so much more than a means of communicating.

Usefulness of this knowledge
How will all this information benefit me?
Generally speaking, you can learn so much about yourself. That's not the end of it. It will also help you in understanding the hidden layers of others as well. All you need is their handwriting sample. Graphology is useful in,
A company takes a writing sample provided by an applicant to assess the right fit. A team leader must have good legible handwriting. If you hire someone who has illegible handwriting and signature, that person will constantly be struggling with communication with their team members. His or her constant battle would be that my team does not understand me.
These resting dots according to her are the places where the pen stops momentarily in the course of a stroke.
There are a lot of aspects of an individual that are not identified via handwriting analysis. parameters like future, gender, age, nationality, race, left or right handedness are not a part of this. But there is a lot more that can be. Yes, there are polarizing views about its efficiency and validity but I am intrigued. Aren’t you?

Psychological limits are essential for protecting mental health, acting as invisible barriers that prevent overexertion and emotional collapse. Much like the "wall" faced by marathon runners, these limits signal when it's time to pause and recharge. Respecting these boundaries is crucial for maintaining mental well-being, preventing burnout, and building resilience. By understanding these limits and adopting strategies like mindfulness and stress management, we can foster a healthier mind and highlight the importance of prioritizing mental health in our daily lives.
Holidays can make us happy, but sometimes make us stressed. This happens because we worry about money, meeting others, or making everything perfect. Being mindful helps us manage these problems by making us thankful, centered, and connected. We do this by keeping our goals reasonable, appreciating what we have, spending less time on devices, taking care of ourselves, and eating thoughtfully. Routine habits like meditating, journaling, or active thinking can make our holidays more calm and satisfying. When we focus on being present and healthy, holidays become a time to think, connect with others, and create lasting memories.
